WATERMEDIA WORKSHOP

This innovative workshop will emphasize techniques and principles to dramatically improve your paintings.  Participants will create unique personalized works of art depicting subjects of their choice. The primary focus will be on developing dramatic designs, scintillating shapes, lavish lines, tantalizing textures, color chords , and pleasing patterns.

Each day will begin with a stimulating lecture and dynamic demonstration. Innovative lesson plans and entertaining creative challenges will be presented to generate original ideas, enhance personal creativity, master technique, and inspire artistic passion as well as enthusiasm. Traditional watermedia as well as mixed media may be utilized.

Denise is a humorous and nurturing workshop instructor. Her well-organized lesson plans makes her classes desirable. Whether painting for personal pleasure or working toward professional status, each participant will be encouraged to find their own special style. This course will provide the knowledge for all artists aspiring to achieve a “breakthrough” and advance to the next level!

Denise Sperry is an award-winning artist whose works appear in national exhibitions, as well as private and corporate collections.She is an enthusiastic workshop instructor who teaches in the United States and Canada. Denise lives in Western New York and is the founder of DEEUNIQUE STUDIO where she has been teaching and painting for many years.

Current gallery representation includes Benjaman’s Gallery in Buffalo, NY and Elevenzees in Chicago, IL. Denise also designs wearable art jewelry, which was featured in “Bead and Button Magazine.”
